The LOGIQ series from GE HealthCare has been a fixture of general ultrasound for many years – in radiology, internal medicine and vascular diagnostics as well as in general practice. The range extends from the portable LOGIQ e for point of care and anaesthesia to consoles such as LOGIQ Fortis, LOGIQ S8 XDclear, LOGIQ P9 XDclear, LOGIQ E10 and LOGIQ E10s.
The series is best known for its XDclear transducers. They combine single-crystal material with an acoustic amplifier that returns unused acoustic energy and a design that reduces heat build-up inside the probe. The result: greater penetration with high resolution, even in larger patients.
In everyday practice, what matters is that one system reliably covers as many clinical questions as possible. We work out with you which LOGIQ model and probes fit, and on request compare alternatives from other manufacturers.
Depending on model and configuration, LOGIQ systems offer shear wave elastography, UGAP attenuation measurement for fatty liver, B-Flow and contrast-enhanced ultrasound. Liver findings, for example, can be assessed comprehensively in one session, without extra equipment or referral.
