Philips ultrasound systems at SonoMedical

Philips covers almost every class of ultrasound system – from premium consoles to the app-based transducer. The EPIQ platform, such as the EPIQ Elite, is designed for demanding diagnostics in hospitals and specialist practices, the Affiniti series (Affiniti 30, 50 and 70) for everyday clinical work; the Affiniti CVx is dedicated to cardiology.

A core technology is the PureWave crystal transducers, which are designed for greater penetration in technically difficult patients. In cardiology, xMATRIX transducers enable Live 3D and xPlane – the simultaneous display of two imaging planes – depending on system and configuration.

We provide manufacturer-independent advice on which Philips system and probes suit your applications, and on request compare alternatives from other manufacturers.

For mobile use, Philips offers two routes: Lumify connects a USB transducer to an app on compatible Android or iOS devices, for example on home visits. The Compact 5500 from the 5000 series is configured for general imaging, cardiology or women's health, depending on the variant.
