Vivid is the cardiology series from GE HealthCare and is widely used in echo labs, hospitals and cardiology practices. The family ranges from the premium Vivid E95 of the E series and the compact Vivid S70 of the S series to the portable Vivid iq for examinations at the bedside.
The consoles are built on the cSound platform, which processes image data in software. Depending on configuration, 4D echocardiography for TTE and TEE is available, as well as AFI, a strain analysis for a more detailed assessment of left ventricular function.
In the echo lab every minute counts: automated measurements such as AutoEF for the ejection fraction shorten routine analyses. We configure your Vivid system with suitable sector and TEE probes and on request compare alternatives from other manufacturers.
A practical benefit is EchoPAC: examinations can be post-processed and reported at a separate workstation while the next patient is already being scanned on the system. With vascular and abdominal packages, the S series in particular becomes a versatile practice system.
